I was born an raised in the beautiful island of Tahiti in the South Pacific Ocean. I treasured my childhood in the island with my parents and cousins. At 18, I experienced to a whole other level caring, watching and standing by my grand mother's side as she dealt with cancer. This life event has shaped my belief and perspective of life. She has been an inspiration and model of faith, perseverance, resilience, charity and hope. I never thought in a million years that I would leave my island and settle in the United States.
